About the Project

March Madness: How to pick a perfect bracket
This project was designed to analyze every march madness bracket since the 1985 expansion to a 64-team tournament, with the goal of providing people with an easy to understand blueprint of how to pick the best bracket possible.

Source

The data used for this project came from the Kaggle data set “NCAAM March Madness Scores 1985-2021,” by Woody Gilbertson. This data set provided the year, round, and the seed, name, and score of the winning and losing team for every game from 1985-2021. Data from the 2022 season was added in manually.
